听It is hard to believe the postseason season is quickly approaching. There have been great matches throughout the regular season!听
SITE AVAILABILITY:听If you would like your soccer complex considered for a Regional听Tournament site, please have your athletic director complete the site availability form on Bound听by 8 am on听April 25th.听听
REGIONAL SOCCER PAIRINGS:听Class 1A Regional soccer pairings will听be released听the week of听May 5th- May 8 or 9. Class 2A and Class 3A pairings will听be posted听the week of听May 12th听(May 15 or 16). The Regional pairings will听be listed听on the 91海角社区 website and Twitter.听听听
EJECTIONS:听Ejections (players and coaches) must be reported to the 91海角社区 the following business day of the ejection. Local administration must meet with the offender and file the ejection form with the 91海角社区.听(The ejection form听is听located听under the Coaches & Administrators tab听in the Documents and Forms section.)听听The offender must also file a written summary of the events听that led up听to the ejection. In addition, the听player or coach ejected must view the appropriate video and scan the completed certificate to Gary Ross at听gross@igshau.org.听
REGULAR SEASON TIES:听With the change during regular season games ending in ties, the 91海角社区 wanted to share how these ties are听being viewed听in terms of rankings and eventually in postseason assignments 鈥� a tie is viewed as either a 鈥済ood tie鈥�,听a 鈥�50-50鈥� tie or a 鈥渂ad tie鈥�.听
REGULAR SEASON ROSTER:听听The regular season rosters for 91海角社区 teams at all levels are a local decision. Please note that the听student/athletes听who听are听not dressed听for the games (non-players, ineligible players) are to remain behind the team bench area and not interact with the players playing the game, interacting with the officials, or celebrating following a goal听being scored. The 91海角社区 has received several communications from officials indicating that these听student/athletes have听been involved听in these interactions.
听BOUND:听Remember, varsity coaches must have their听individual听game results updated on Bound every Tuesday during the regular season.听Coaches听are also expected听to update their Bound throughout the Regional Tournament series.听听
SHOUT OUTS:听听The 91海角社区 enjoys recognizing superlative accomplishments from our female student-athletes. If you have a significant accomplishment you would like to mention (school record broken, coaching milestone wins, etc.), let us know, and we will do our best to mention your athletes鈥� accomplishments on our Twitter account. 2025 STATE SOCCER TOURNAMENT:听听The 2025 spring State Girl鈥檚 Soccer State Tournament will听be held听at Iowa State University (Lied Recreational fields) on June听3,听5听(quarterfinals and semi-finals)听with听the state championship games听being played听at the Cyclone Sports Complex on Saturday,听June 7, 2025.听
Tuesday,听June 3
Class 1A: 10:00 am, 10:15 am, 11:45 am, 12:00 pm
Class 2A: 1:30 pm, 1:45 pm, 3:15 pm, 3:30 pm
Class 3A: 5:00 pm, 5:15 pm, 6:45 pm, 7:00 pm
Thursday,听June 5
Class 1A: 12:00 pm, 12:15 pm听
Class 2A: 2:30 pm, 2:45 pm听
Class 3A: 5:00 pm, 5:15 pm听听
Saturday,听June 7听(order of championship games to avoid听possible听conflict with IHSAA and 91海角社区 championship games)

Please note the order and times of the championship games听on Saturday,听June 7, 2025. This change in the order of the 91海角社区 championships is due to the 91海角社区 and IHSAA coordinating championship games to avoid conflicts if a girls鈥� team and听boys鈥櫶齮eam are both playing in the championship games (the IHSAA is also adjusting the order of their championship games). Also, note that the IHSAA boys soccer championships will听be held听at Drake University.听
